ABDUL KALAM
AVUL PAKIR JAINULABDIN ABDUL KALAM was
one of the finest and smartest personality and he was also a gem not only for
our country but also the whole universe. He was one of the galaxies of modern
science. This galaxy saw the first sunlight in 1931 at Rameswaram in Tamilnadu.
This great man had belonged to a middle class poor family. His father,
Jainulabdin, was a pious person and a fisherman. His mother, Asiamma, was a
pious lady too.
He started his first schooling at Rameswaram and then he was
admitted into Madras Institute of Techonology for higher studies. He had a
great intention and dedication that led him to be a man of letters. Then he was
appointed as a trainee in Hindustan Aeronautics and then was sent to NASA in
USA and slowly he got a great many achievements. In 1979 this great personality
had played a key role to launch the missiles and then he was appointed the
Director of DPDL on February in 1982. Then he invented the missiles named
“Trishul”, “Akash”, “Agni”, “Prithvi”, “Naga”etc. After this invention of all
kinds of missiles he got the reputation
the name as “The Missile Man” in the whole world. This Indian gem got
the “Bharat Ratna Award” in 1997, “Padma Bhusan” in 1981 and “Padma Vibhusan”
for his intensive sacrifice to nation as well as science. In 2002 he was
elected the President of India for demanding of the countryman. This great man
wrote a number of books such as “Ignited Minds”, “Wings of Fire” etc. But this
great personality lost his breath in a heart attack in Shillong on 27th
July in 2015. He was the eleventh president of our country. But he realized
that he was not perfect of this post. Though we lost this great man but we will
remember him always through his speech
